Meet the team

Natalie - Manager

Early Years has always held a huge place in my heart. I absolutely love all it entails from wiping noses, to blowing bubbles, singing songs and investigating all the curious questions and theories that children make. Children truly are fascinating.

I personally believe that the first five years of life is the most crucial stage of human development, the brain works in such mysterious ways and in these first five years it is constantly expanding, growing and learning skills, personality traits and developing more than we could ever imagine which is why we need excellent Early Years’ experiences to facilitate this.

My vision for Leaps Nursery is for it to be a safe home from home, nurturing, exciting and fun learning environment where every child can reach their potential and beyond.

I have worked in Early Years Education for several years working my way up from Nursery Practitioner to Nursery Manager and I have studied childhood development and the EYFS curriculum intently.

I currently hold a Level 6 and have a BA Hons in Early Years Learning and Teaching and I have attended several training courses.

I am really looking forward to meeting you and all your lovely children. Together, I truly believe we can create the best environment for your child to thrive and progress.

Child development and children's education has always been a passion of mine.  Seeing and helping children to develop and learn, especially through play and hands-on activities, is something I thoroughly enjoy.  Arts and Crafts is another passion of mine and there is always some project waiting for me at home - inside or outside!  I am a trained primary school teacher and gained most of my experience in London schools as well as primary and secondary school in Germany where I was born and raised.  Bringing up my own two children bilingual, I am looking forward to telling the children at Leaps Nursery, every now and then, a few German words and letting them experience some traditions through stories and food.  I have recently completed various courses to deepen my understanding of children's mental health which is another subject close to my heart.  I feel very grateful to be part of the Leaps Nursery team and I am looking forward to seeing the children through their early years journey.

Hello.  My name is Kellie,  I am excited to be part of the excellent and nurturing Leaps team.  Before starting a family I was a nutritional therapist working alongside doctors, therapists, scientists and educators.

During the last decade I have been raising three awesome but very bust children!  Their interests are varied - ranging from art to drama, sport to stickers!
Additionally I am a regular volunteer at school helping with reading and activity days.
For the last 4 years I have also been a regular helper in the children's groups at church, looking after children in both the creche and preschool rooms.
I look forward to welcoming your children to Leaps.

Hi, I'm Katie. I have six years experience of working with children as a Learning Support Assistant. After taking a career break to raise my own children, I am excited to be joining the Leaps team! My special areas of interest are SEN, fine and gross motor development along with arts and design.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of your children and supporting them in their early years journey to learn, play and reach their potential.

I am currently working towards my level 3 childcare qualification. I started working in early years education after becoming a mum myself and I am passionate about children learning through play and wanting to provide a nurturing environment. I have recently trained in level 1 Makaton sign language and thoroughly enjoy it. I am hoping to bring this with me to Leaps where I am thrilled to have been taken on as a member of staff. In my spare time I am a busy mum to 2 boys - we enjoy the outdoors and are avid footy fans. I look forward to meeting you all and having the best time at nursery.

Hello, my name is Charlie and I'm very excited to be part of the Leaps team and will be working as a learning support assistant. I have 2 children and have been a stay at home parent for a few years. My interests include animals, gardening and I'm a keen swimmer! My children and I love to grow our own fruit and vegetables and our pet tortoise loves to eat them. I look forward to meeting all of your children and having a great time at nursery.
